Litter disgrace

Both the A1 and A720 trunk roads daily carry thousands of visitors either by car or tour coach to our once beautiful city and countryside.

The amount of litter thrown away at the roadside is a poor reflection on how our local population treat their environment.

While appreciating regular removal does cost, it is a task that must be tackled on a frequent basis or Scotland will become a third-world state.
