Lights out

Clark Cross (Letters, 1 July)  asks if the “anti-fracking brigade will rejoice when the lights go out”.

The answer is clearly Yes. A world without energy where man is sacrificed to his environment is the goal of the anti-industrial movement, whether they admit it or not.
