Letters: Climate shambles

As the whole anthropogenic climate change debate turns into a farce (your report, 13 February), it would seem we are in a situation where you are damned if you believe, and damned if you do not.

That said, whatever lies have been told; whatever truths and whatever the final outcome, of one fact there can be little doubt: the planet will have the final say, and with mankind seemingly destined forever to embrace some foolish notion or t'other, it may even yet have the very last laugh. Politicians not least, should take note!
