Letters: Admiration for amazing woman

I READ the Catherine Deveney interview with Julie Nicholson, in Spectrum (27 June). Never before have I felt so moved and impressed by such a piece of writing. I don't usually comment on such things, but this was a first rate article, written about a remarkable woman.

Catherine's article was sensitive and honest - brutally so regarding the comment Catherine herself made "off the record". To be candid enough to print that shows the qualities which make her an award-winning journalist.

A remarkable interview of a most remarkable woman. Julie Nicholson deserves total admiration and respect. Her forthcoming book will help many, those suffering loss and those like myself whose work brings them into contact with the bereaved.
