Letter: Wrong image

The Scottish Agricultural College wishes to emphasise that the picture, below, used for the Farming Page report (17 March) on the opening of our new research facility bears no relation to the methods to be used here.

The new GreenCow facility will enable us to address the complex issues surrounding greenhouse gas emissions from ruminant livestock.

The sophisticated facilities and science involved have been planned with animal welfare as a key consideration, and in no way correspond to the impression given by the picture used.
