Letter: Strong like Maggie

MARGARET Thatcher – hate her or love her – at least as prime minister had the strength to sack aberrant government ministers.

Now we have the prospect of yet another suspected terrorist, Abu Qatada, receiving compensation from the government for wrongful arrest. What would it take for David Cameron to speak those words: “Government minister, you’re fired”?
