Letter: Stop the war

When the WikiLeaks story broke (25 October) I expected massive coverage of this catalogue of abuse by alliance forces in Iraq. However, what is remarkable is the dirth of reporting on the incidents of abuse contained in the leaks, apart from Dispatches on Channel 4.

If only one of the Iraqi victims had the forethought to be a contestant on the X Factor. The image of the two surrendering Iraqi insurgents being shot dead by the helicopter crew still haunts me. I know that Tommy Sheridan is currently preoccupied with a domestic issue, but where are the other usual suspects?

Come on George and Tony, do your stuff.
