Letter: Sounds sensible

We are very conscious of this issue and, in fact, changed the timing of Wednesday night's concerts to avoid a repeat.

Once we recognised the problem on the night, we did our best to mitigate the circumstances.

The site is temporary. It is being operated by Assembly for the first time. The site configuration has not been employed before and we did not fully appreciate the sound issues until the tents had been built and we tested the sound systems.

Since then, we have been actively working to minimise the impact on the public. I can assure you that future programming will be very sensitive to this matter.

The George Square site has a terrific atmosphere and ambience, and we hope everyone will enjoy the fantastic concerts we have on offer this weekend.
