Letter: Soul singing

I FEEL sorry for those who attend churches where singing is not allowed (your report, 18 March). I went to a Humanist wedding a couple of years ago, and although the ceremony was lovely and focused on the couple rather than an invisible spiritual force, the absence of song made it a rather less soulful occasion.
