Letter: SNP not talking my language

Could it be possible to cobble together some facts and figures with regard to a perceived punitive drive by the SNP propaganda machine to foist, by the proverbial back door, Gaelic. Herewith some indications:

1) Michael Russell MSP presenting a speech in Gaelic at a recent EU debate/conference.

2) SNP building of at least three primary schools where Gaelic will be a compulsory subject.

3) The SNP announcement that a Glasgow college for instruction of 100 "Gaelic teachers" is planned.

4) As only 1 per cent of Scotland's population is Gaelic speaking, there does seem to be an overspend on what is a minority language.

6) The money proposed for 100 teachers would be better used to train a further 100 reading, writing, arithmetic/science teachers.
