Letter: Snow business

Do you think it possible to apply for funding from the source that funded the Turra Coo so the roads can be cleared of snow and frost as they were 30 years ago, when winters were really bad, to enable people to see the Turra Coo?

Considering the amount ofsnowfall on Saturday, the roads from MacDuff towards Aberdeen were very poorly maintained and considering the snow that we had 30 years ago I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times my daughter's school in Kingussie was closed as a result of adverse weather conditions. A rare happening.

Something needs to be done to improve the service otherwise the NHS will be further stretched to cope with casualties as a result of accidents caused by poor road conditions.
