Letter: Shocking statistic
I MUST congratulate you on a fine piece of journalism (23 August) in which you highlighted the poor provision of the potentially life-saving defibrillators.
Given Scotland is a league leader in heart disease you would have thought such provision was a no-brainer. I sincerely hope your article will shame those silly decision makers into a more public spirited rethink. Recognising this undoubted need the Rotary Club of Braids has donated a defibrillator to the two sports centres in their area at Gracemount and Warrender.
