Letter: Shades of atheism

Bruce Crichton (Letters, 22 September) asks us to differentiate carefully between varieties of atheist philosophies, and not tar all with the same brush.

Would Mr Crichton like to confirm that he extends the same considered discrimination when he considers religious believers?

For instance, he will surely concede that Islamic terrorism bears no relation at all to my Christian faith?
