Letter: Secular hopes

Your headline (11 January) states that "atheists urge SFA to give Dallas his job back".

The National Secular Society has atheist members but anyone is welcome to join if they wish to see the separation of church and state and the ending of religious privilege.

I suspect that there are many people in Scotland who would wish to join the society and contribute to its campaigns including the ending of the indefensible membership of 26 Church of England bishops, uniquely among religions, in the House of Lords where they can help make laws for Scotland.
