Letter: Praise for GPs

Could it be that I'm the only non-GP who thinks GPs deserve every penny they get (your report, 13 January)?

People seem to forget how much goes into their training, how hard they work and how we only hear about medical cases that go wrong - not the thousands of people they help every day.
