Letter: Odeon watch

Your report (11 February) that no bids have been accepted for Edinburgh's historic Odeon should be a surprise to no-one - with a £3 million asking price for a limited use, restricted licensing, long-neglected building, only a Martian would have bid.

Many eyes are watching how any new listing building consent application by its owner may be treated very closely.
