Letter: MP should resign over his pledge

THE Lib-Dem MP for Edinburgh West has named me and complained of bitter sniping (Interactive, October 25).

Before the election Mike Crockart signed a pledge to oppose any increase in tuition fees. Now he has reneged on that pledge.

He should resign his position in the Conservative-led coalition government and state that he will vote against any proposal to increase tuition fees and carry that vote through.
