Letter: Moaning minnies

RE 'SCOTS team excused from Delhi ceremony' (News, 3 October). I am sorry to see how moaning minnie the Scots seem to be about all this. I just hope some of the comments (on the Scotland on Sunday website] don't come back to haunt them in four years' time.

I do know for a fact that despite a recognised fiasco and poor organisation the Games Village is considered lovely by the majority and Delhi itself is a beautiful place, albeit with the challenges of poverty and deprivation that a developing country has.
