Letter: Missing islands

Does The Scotsman not recognise the existence of Shetland as part of Scotland? You display ten maps across two pages in the article about the state of Scotland's roads (20 January), but none shows Shetland as part of Scotland. Your maps stop at Orkney.

I used to object to Shetland being in a box off Dundee or in the Moray Firth but that was better than not being shown at all. Your maps show the Western Isles and recognise that you have no data for these islands. Why not the same for Shetland?
