Letter: Mental state

You report that Scotland's poor mental health is costing the country more than £10 billion a year (25 February). I'm willing to bet that the figure is far higher. Because there is still a stigma attached to depression, it's far easier for people to call in sick blaming a physical ailment than admit that they are suffering mentally.
