Letter: Let's get behind our national team

ON FRIDAY last I watched the film Invictus, the story about Nelson Mandela and the Springboks winning the 1995 World Cup.

I then bought Scotland on Sunday to get the Six Nations supplement. I found the first two articles were so negative, you can imagine my disappointment.

Why do we continually as a nation put ourselves down and especially the Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday as our national newspapers?

Our team is improving and getting better by leaps and bounds. Lets get behind them and not condemn them before the season has begun. A more positive attitude would be a lot more helpful.
