Letter: Hibernian stand

AS A lifelong Hibs fan, I want to offer coach Colin Calderwood my support.

I believe some have called for his resignation, however most fans feel the responsibility for our team floundering rests with the board.

We remain grateful to chairman Rod Petrie as we are one of the few football teams in good financial health.

However, sooner or later Mr Petrie needs to realise that building a good team would be more lucrative than simply not opening his purse.

He needs to make a statement of intent. Tell us why he is spending our ticket money on a stand, rather than on a team that merits a full-capacity stadium.
