Letter: Distorted vote

WHAT a distortion of vocabulary it is to describe British politics as any form of democracy. In the Labour leadership election it was possible to cast up to three votes by being a party member, MP and trade unionist. Worse still, union votes are cast in blocks.

Equally undemocratically, six of Labour's front bench posts are reserved for women.
