Letter: Creation account

PETER Curran's otherwise good letter (18 July) is marred by one slip.

Creationists do not, as he says, "accept the evidence of the rocks" etc, while also believing in a 6,000-year-old Earth.

Instead of accepting the "evidence of the rocks", creationists reject it, ignore it, misunderstand it, misrepresent it, lie about it, and even fake it, in their quest to undermine dating methods, and to "prove" the Earth to be young.
