Letter: Benefits cheats

HOW enfuriating to read that benefit cheats in Scotland have cost the country at least £41 million in the past three years (your report, 2 August).

People who cheat in this way seem to regard it as a victimless crime - not unlike those who find clever ways of not paying their taxes in this country.

Why can't people show more responsibility for each other?
