Letter: Bad timing, BBC

I switched on my radio at around 2pm on Monday as a drama was about to air on BBC Scotland.

I was genuinely surprised at the introduction, which warned of ensuing “adult content”. I’ve never heard that on the radio before.

I listened to a few minutes of the show, which rapidly signalled that the content was concerned with the internet and the grooming/abuse of children.

Easter being a time of family celebration, we had family coming round so I switched off to get on with the preparations.

I really do wonder what mitigation there is for the placement of this drama at a time when families are celebrating a holiday meal together.

What about the religious among us who, at this time, celebrate the joy of the risen Christ?
