Letter: Back to the future for Sixties mobile

I WISH to draw your attention to the picture on page 15 of the In Our Time 1950s supplement (16 January). The caption reads "Junction of Inglis Street, High Street and East Gate, Inverness, 1958".

However, the motor car in the centre of the picture is a Hillman Super Minx, which was not announced by the manufacturer Rootes Group until October 1961. It must be there courtesy of Marty McFly from Back To The Future - or your information is wrong.
