Let him travel

RADICAL hate preacher Anjem Choudary says that if he got his passport back from the police he would immediately leave with his family to live in Islamic State controlled Syria (4 April).

He is on bail after being arrested on terror-related allegations.

He hates Britain but not enough to refuse the welfare benefits, NHS visits and social housing for his large family.

If he stays here he might be imprisoned for a short while but on release would tie up many in the security services keeping him under observation all this at great expense to the taxpayer.

If he is allowed to go he might even (hopefully) be the subject of an air or drone strike.
