Let her be

So Tian Tian the panda has been artificially inseminated again (your report, 27 March).

If this effort doesn’t work, I hope they give up and leave the poor bear alone.

I know breeding would benefit her species in terms of numbers, but this shouldn’t be at the expense of her own wellbeing.

It’s time to stop prodding and poking her.
