Leave him be

I feel sorry for Benedict Cumberbatch at the moment. First, he received some rather stern criticism of his stage performance in Hamlet, which is particularly tough as the production had some technical problems earlier in its run (your report, 10 August).

Now some people are being unkind about him online, suggesting he is being a baby for complaining about an audience member filming him in the theatre. How blinkered, and how rude.
