Leader's debate

The saturation coverage of the leaders' debates and their obvious impact on voting intentions proves the broadcasters were not impartial by agreeing to the cosy rules of the three old traditional parties. It is an affront to democracy.

If this was a real United Kingdom, there would have been three UK-wide debates with the four main parties in each country – ie, one in Scotland with the SNP, one in Wales with Plaid Cymru and one in England with Ukip who, by beating Labour and the Lib Dems in last year's European elections are currently the fourth force in England.
