Just the ticket

Having noted that Lothian Buses is to increase the price of a day ticket, I was reminded of another of my rants.

It is high time Edinburgh joined other major cities and had a fare system which allows people to pay one single fare for a journey across town which may involve more than one bus. Twenty-first-century cities have a timed ticket (like our wonderful trams) say for an hour and a half which can be used as many times as necessary to get you where you wish to go.
