Johann lament

You record that Scottish ­Labour leader Johann Lamont has claimed in the Scottish Parliament that First Minister has a “brass neck” (15 November).

The sheer cheek demonstrated by Mrs Lamont is truly breathtaking!

She, not Alex Salmond, is the one with the “brass neck”. She appears at Holyrood, receiving a very generous salary to boot, to carp on about what may or may not happen in the event of a Yes vote.

This is made all the more galling by the fact that she was very noticeable by her absence, either in person or by comment, during the recent Grangemouth and Clyde job scares. Shame on you Mrs Lamont.
