Job creation

After yet another fatal accident on a level crossing, this time the tragic death in England last week of a girl aged four, it is time for legislation requiring level crossing keepers – instead of remote control, which has proved unsatisfactory – as well as the signals and red lights on the gates.

A great deal of our money has been spent trying to create jobs. Here is an opportunity to make some that are really useful.
