It’s blasphemy

I enjoy The Scotsman and find it very interesting. I was greatly distressed, however, to find the cartoon picture (7 October) in Scottish Perspective.

The First Minister, Mr Alex Salmond, was shown standing in the pulpit, quoting Lord Jesus Christ: “I am The Way, The Truth, and The Light.”

I am a Christian and to me and, of course, other Christians, this is blasphemy.

I hope it will not happen again. Muslims would be very angry if one blasphemed against their religion.
