Improper burial

(Rev) Dr George Grubb appears not to be a regular reader of the letters pages of The Scotsman.

There was a recent letter expressing similar views on John Knox, his place of burial and his standing as a great Scottish social reformer, as confirmed by Dr Grubb.

Indeed, this car park was originally the St Giles burial ground which compounds the whole indignity.

Dr Grubb mentions the word “sectarian”. In writing that recent letter, to which there were no replies, I am a practising Roman Catholic.

Finally, due to Knox’s development on schooling, this made Scotland Europe’s best educated country and its children the most able to read and to write.
