Idea of March
I must disagree with Eric Begbie’s assertion that March is a dreich month (Letters, 7 February).
The first month of the Scottish spring, with new life being born in our fields, leaves unfurling on trees, and flowers bursting into colour, will be the perfect month for Scotland, after its long slumber, to rise up and be a nation again on our independence day.
