Heritage vandals
In the Burns Heritage Museum it keeps referring to Burns's language as "Scots", when any real scholar knows that it was "Scotch".
Its excuse is that a bunch of phoney modern scholars have bullied nearly everyone into calling it "Scots". It claims that Scots call whisky "Scotch".

Hide AdIt is some time since I frequented pubs, but in my day no Scot ever called it "Scotch", but a dram, hauf, or some such thing.
Also, everyone round about called the language Scotch, including Sir James Wilson, the famous dialect scholar.
