Healing needed

The picture on yesterday’s front page symbolises all that is distasteful about the
Yes campaign’s aggression.

It has become apparent for a long time that independence activists have inveigled themselves in a worrying way into all sorts of places.

I gather, for example, when they held a meeting in my own town of Troon there were some who were bussed in to make the appropriate noise and to quieten anyone who dared offer any contrary view. Little wonder when we were treated to a contemptuous Mr Salmond smirking his way through the last “debate”on TV.

His was a studied and
rehearsed effort to dismiss through volume any arguments which he cannot
answer through hard fact.

He has single-handedly
divided our country. When we vote No next month, there will be many people needing to be healed.
