Guts and drive

After reading John Major’s bizarre comments about how immigrants’ “guts and drive” gives them a “very Conservative instinct”, I feel he needs to get out of his ivory tower of the 1950s and have a look at the reality of the uncontrolled immigration situation in 2014.

The situation in the 1950s was completely different from how it is now and so was the population.

In 2014 we have education, health and housing services stretched to breaking point with British workers being really disadvantaged in the recruitment process.

My view is that the Conservative instinct is not just to better oneself, but to do so at the expense of the rest of the community and with comments like these, John Major is showing the electorate just how out of touch the Conservative Party is in 2014 to issues that really matter to the British people.
