Gun laws

The gun lobby in the United States is very powerful and will fight to maintain the right to bear arms to the end, but even they must be shocked at what has happened in Waco over the weekend, with an argument between biker gangs resulting in carnage with several deaths.

We should be grateful that something like that is unlikely to ever happen in the UK, as a result of the gun laws being tightened following the dreadful mass shootings in Dunblane, perpetrated by somebody with a firearms licence.
