Green zealots

Today EU leaders will meet to discuss how to lower energy prices and allow European 
industry to be more competitive in the world.

They belatedly realise that 
the rest of the world is not 
interested in curbing omissions.

Europe’s manufacturers have lost ground to worldwide rivals because of soaring energy costs caused by “green taxes”. Europe is now importing cheap coal from the US for coal-fired plants to reduce electricity prices.

Meanwhile, the UK, and especially Scotland, is decarbonising the economy with subsidised, expensive but useless wind 
turbines. Our scientifically illiterate politicians, led by the nose by green zealots, are leading us to economic oblivion.

One can only hope that today will see politicians admit they were wrong in believing they could control the climate with putative “green taxes”.
