Great achievements

In any debate on the greatest sportsperson of all time, male or female, (Alan Pattullo, Sport, 14 July) the astonishing Texan, Babe Zaharias, should feature prominently.

Her achievements in several games and sports at national and international level, before her untimely death at 45 from cancer, deserve an article on their own.
