Give us a sign

WITH reference to the recent news that average speed cameras have failed to cut the death rate on the A9, I have often wondered why there is not one sign, anywhere on this road as far as I can see, indicating what the correct speed limit is.

Surely it would help to remind locals and advise tourists on the different stretches.

It seems an obvious and cheap way to help keep the traffic 
within the speed limit … if they know it.
