Future uncertain
All the discussion about what Scotland would be like after a Yes vote is interesting but academic. No government of an independent country is going to hold itself bound forever by any promises made before the referendum.
At the moment an SNP manifesto is presented to us. Even if that were to come to pass, within a few years Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon may be gone. Personalities and policies will change.
So we cannot say with confidence what will happen in the future. The choice is independence – Yes or No – for better or for worse. Then you take your chance.
