Fewer poisonings

Ross Minnett, of Advocates for Animals, claims the recent Royal Society for the Protection of Birds report shows a rise in the poisoning of raptors. He could not be more wrong. The only rise mentioned in the report was in the number of reported allegations of poisoning; and less than half were found to have been true. The number of poisonings actually decreased.

Which reminds me, have I missed the letter from him declaring outrage at the proposed mass poisoning of 10,000 rats on Canna to protect seabird colonies? Or is it the case that dead rats don't get the donation money flooding in, in the same way that "poisoned eagle" headlines do?
