Festival glitch
FOR 49 weeks of the year, I can
select a seat and book tickets online for Edinburgh theatres. For the other three weeks, those when the Festival is held, I cannot.
As an Apple computer user, I am, for all Festival shows, excluded from the normal operations of the software, which caters only for PC users.
I must submit to the lottery of buying a ticket without seeing where the seat is located within the theatre, being unable to access the normal seating charts. It is a strange business decision to make it more difficult to buy a product during the period of maximum demand.
