Fans frustrated

As A former competitive swimmer, it is frustrating not to have secured a single ticket for swimming and other sports requested during the recent sales fiasco for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

I registered for ticket updates last August, but was unsuccessful in securing any of the first batch of tickets. When the tickets went on sale online two weeks ago, I switched on the computer at 9am and was staring at the same “window” well into the night.

Ironically, I secured tickets for the London Olympics in 2012, but, frustratingly, cannot get tickets for my “local” Commonwealth Games. 

The final re-release of tickets did not include swimming at all. This dreadful technical glitch was never fully explained, but certainly resulted in extreme disappointment for countless numbers of sports fans.
