False prospectus

If the statements on Scotland’s finances issued by the UK and Scottish governments on Wednesday were prospectuses for the issue of shares I would not want to invest in either company.

The statistics are of doubtful validity, the projections highly speculative and in neither case does past performance or the management inspire confidence. Avoid.
