Fairer society

According to HMRC figures, the top 1.1 per cent of all UK income tax payers pay 31.5 per cent of all income tax and receive 9.5 per cent of total after-tax income. In the view of the First Minister, Jim Murphy and Tommy Sheridan, the three being much the same these days, what percentage of total income tax should the top 1 per cent pay to ensure a fairer society?
